Death Tuna is a heavy indica dominant hybrid that was created by crossing the already popular Death Bubba (though some phenotypes cross with Death Star) and Black Tuna strains. It averages 21% to 27% in THC levels but has been reported to reach as high as 30%! Its parent, Death Bubba, a descendent of the infamous Bubba Kush, is another indica dominant hybrid with 70% indica dominance to 30% sativa. It also averages at a stellar high of 25% to 27% THC levels. Its other parent, Black Tuna, another BC bred strain, has a near even sativa to indica ratio, and is made by crossing Lamb’s Bread and Herojuana. It averages between 14% to 20%.
Appearance & Aroma
The nugs of Death Tuna are fluffy and have a long, cylinder shape. The flowers carry hues of olive and mint, as well as darker beautiful shades of blue and orangey brown pistils. They have the appearance of luxury as they are also covered in a super frosty layer of crystal trichomes. Its name is an indicator of its aromas and flavours: predominantly, it is gassy, earthy, kushy and fishy. Deathly pungent and dank, this strain will sure stir up a stink, so you are better off looking for something else if you plan on being discreet!
